Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- Specific vision abilities including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to work indoor shifts standing for eight hours and exposed to extreme weather conditions
- Flexible schedule availability
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and training
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for housekeeping duties
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even when not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
