Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and materials
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Willingness to work full-time hours
- Adherence to safety and sanitation protocols
- Positive attitude and reliability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks regularly
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting
- Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units in resident rooms and recreational areas
- Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish bathroom fixtures and remove water marks
- Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways
- Perform additional duties as assigned
