Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach continuously throughout a shift
- Ability to push and pull carts or equipment over 100 lb on tile and carpeted floors
- Ability to handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
- Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform essential job functions
- Willingness to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements or exemption policies
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
- Preferred housekeeping experience including cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, or healthcare
Job Duties
- Clean assigned areas of the hospital including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
- Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
- Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
- Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
