Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to work indoors with hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including cold and heat
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- remove trash from guest rooms
- dust and polish guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance by cleaning doors, windows, sliding doors and A/C grills
- remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
- visually inspect guest rooms and public areas for quality and cleanliness
- report any safety or security violations or guest concerns to supervisor immediately
- operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
