Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces and stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to handle exposure to extreme weather conditions such as cold and heat

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning baths, kitchens, floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash, and dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outdoor areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
