Job Duties
- Complete daily occupied and discharge transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and common areas
- Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfecting principles
- Use safe chemical and equipment handling practices
- Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment as per standard work procedures
- Remove waste and transport it to disposal areas with proper segregation of regulated medical, recycle, solid, and hazardous waste
- Follow infection prevention practices including proper cleaning protocols, hand hygiene, and PPE use
