Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
- Willingness to work standing for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to extreme weather
- Flexible scheduling availability
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of operating procedures and cleaning techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Customer service skills
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, doors, and removing trash from surrounding outdoor areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness and presentation standards even if not assigned specifically
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
