Job Requirements

minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
high school diploma or equivalent education and training
ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
willingness to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing
work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
flexibility to work full-time or part-time with varied schedules

Job Qualifications

minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma
ability to provide required knowledge, skills, and abilities through education, training or experience

Job Duties

maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
remove all trash from guest rooms
dust and polish all guest room furnishings
maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, AC grill, doors, and windows
remove trash from surrounding outside areas
ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even outside assigned zones
visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
