Job Requirements
- minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent education and training
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
- willingness to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing
- work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- flexibility to work full-time or part-time with varied schedules
Job Qualifications
- minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma
- ability to provide required knowledge, skills, and abilities through education, training or experience
Job Duties
- maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- remove all trash from guest rooms
- dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, AC grill, doors, and windows
- remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even outside assigned zones
- visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
