Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior experience as a cleaner in EVS or equivalent preferred
Good communication skills
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and cleaning equipment as it relates to SDS
Ability to understand health and safety regulations and requirements
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
Physical stamina to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Performs duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, window washing, restroom cleaning, trash removal, polishing of metal work, office cleaning, and dusting
Follows approved cleaning practices with proper chemicals within SDS guidelines
Stock housekeeping supplies when delivered, keep closets stocked and organized
Operate and properly maintain cleaning equipment
Cleaning and disposal of biohazard material according to Occupational Safety and health Administration guidelines
Answer or direct customer inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary
Expected to take initiative to immediately clean or correct problem areas
Reports emergencies and maintenance needs to supervisor
Other duties as assigned
