Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow safety and security protocols
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform visual inspections and maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to develop required knowledge, skills and abilities through education, training, or experience
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if the area is not assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
