- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties
- Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas
- Perform duties demonstrating knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfecting principles
- Use chemicals and equipment safely within the healthcare environment
- Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment per standard work setup
- Remove waste and transport to proper disposal areas following regulatory guidelines
- Follow infection prevention practices including cleaning protocols, hand hygiene, standard and isolation precautions, and proper use of PPE
- Adhere to timely room turnovers to support patient throughput
