Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience
- Possess good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for 8 hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to maintain superior customer service
- Willingness to follow company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to acquire necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities through education, training, or work experience
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bathrooms and kitchens, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards regardless of specific area assignments
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety and security violations of policy and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking the housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
