Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of standard housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical demands including standing for eight hour shifts, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Capability to meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to comply with company safety and security policies
- Availability for flexible scheduling including full-time or part-time positions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company cleanliness and presentation standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping carts
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
