Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to work in exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and adjusting focus
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning baths and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, and dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards, even if not specifically assigned
- Conduct visual inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and presentation
- Notify supervisor of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
