Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Capability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Must have good vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Must be able to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Experience or comfort working in variable temperature conditions
- Flexible availability to work full-time or part-time
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
- Ability to understand and follow safety and operational guidelines
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bathroom and kitchen areas
- Clean floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms and outside areas
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and doors
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned to you
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety/security violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on the housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
