Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to providing superior customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate standard housekeeping equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards, even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
