Job Duties
- Complete daily occupied and discharge cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and common areas
- Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements
- Use and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment as per standard work procedures
- Remove and dispose of waste correctly, following regulatory waste stream guidelines
- Follow infection prevention practices including proper cleaning protocols, hand hygiene, and personal protective equipment use
