Job Requirements

Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent education
Ability to lift and/or move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
Capacity to perform physical activities such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme weather conditions including cold and heat

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent education
Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, and dusting and polishing furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing outside trash
Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service zones for cleanliness and presentation quality
Notify supervisor immediately of any safety, security violations, or guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
