Job Requirements
- minimum one-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- must have specific vision capabilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- must be able to stand for 8-hour shifts
- willing to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- able to tolerate exposure to extreme weather conditions
- strong communication skills
- customer service oriented
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications

- any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, a/c grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
- ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and cleanliness
- notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and restock cleaning supplies
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
