Job Requirements

  • minimum one-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
  • must have specific vision capabilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • must be able to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • willing to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
  • able to tolerate exposure to extreme weather conditions
  • strong communication skills
  • customer service oriented
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • minimum one-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
  • maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, a/c grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
  • ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and cleanliness
  • notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • operate housekeeping equipment and restock cleaning supplies
  • notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
