Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Ability to adapt to exposure to extreme weather conditions such as cold and heat
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience

- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Customer service skills
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
- Ability to perform visual inspections and quality assessments
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- Clean floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors and windows
- Remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards regardless of assigned area
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety and security policy violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
