Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Basic communication skills in English
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including full-time and part-time
- Ability to maintain friendly and professional interactions with guests
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of cleaning and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct quality inspections
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Capability to operate housekeeping equipment and replenish supplies
- Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and bending or stooping as required
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove trash from guest rooms, dust and polish guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even when not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
