Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme weather conditions including cold and heat
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Availability for flexible scheduling

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment

  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
  • Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
  • Remove all trash from guest rooms and surrounding outside areas
  • Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards
  • Visually inspect guest rooms and public areas for quality and presentation
  • Notify supervisor of safety, security violations, or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
