Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience including good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Capable of sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Able to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces and stand for eight hour shifts
- Willingness to work in exposure to extreme weather conditions including cold and heat
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and cleaning techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash, and dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and cleanliness
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
