Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including standing for eight hour shifts
  • Ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Any combination of education, training or experience providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, and dusting or polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
