Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of standard housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time with varied schedules
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards in all hotel areas
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, clean all floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart with necessary supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
