Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of standard housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time with varied schedules
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness standards in all hotel areas

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, clean all floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, remove trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart with necessary supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
