Job Requirements

minimum one year housekeeping experience
good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
high school diploma or equivalent
ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
ability to stand for eight hour shifts
ability to perform physical activities such as sitting climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling
specific vision abilities including close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
willingness to work indoors on hard or carpeted surfaces and exposed to extreme weather conditions
availability for flexible schedules

Job Qualifications

minimum one year housekeeping experience

high school diploma or equivalent
ability to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping
excellent communication and customer service skills
ability to work well in a diverse and inclusive team environment
basic operation of housekeeping equipment

Job Duties

maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas cleaning floors vacuuming or washing removing trash dusting and polishing furnishings
maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors AC grills doors windows removing trash from outside areas
ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
visually inspect guest rooms public areas and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
notify supervisor immediately of safety security violations and guest concerns
operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
provide superior customer service when interacting with guests
