Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience, Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques, High school diploma or equivalent education, Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts, Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to perform duties requiring physical stamina such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for eight-hour shifts
  • Familiarity with hotel safety and security policies
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety, security violations, or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping carts
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
