Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including part-time or full-time positions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Other combinations of education, training or experience that provide required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash, and dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety, security violations, or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
