Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
- ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- ability to work in extreme weather conditions including cold and heat
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent
- any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including all bath and kitchen areas
- clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- remove all trash from guest rooms
- dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, and windows
- remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards including unassigned areas
- visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
- notify supervisor immediately of any safety, security violations or guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies stocked
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
