Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Capacity to perform physical activities such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and cleaning techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to provide required knowledge, skills and abilities through education, training or experience
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good communication skills for guest interaction
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team environment
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms and outside areas
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, and windows
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
