Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Capacity to perform physical activities such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and cleaning techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to provide required knowledge, skills and abilities through education, training or experience
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Good communication skills for guest interaction
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team environment

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas
  • Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
  • Remove all trash from guest rooms and outside areas
  • Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, and windows
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
