Job Duties
- Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas and equipment
- Maintain a working knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfecting principles
- Safely handle chemicals and equipment within the healthcare environment
- Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment according to standard work procedures
- Remove and transport waste to appropriate disposal areas following regulatory guidelines
- Adhere to infection prevention practices including hand hygiene and PPE protocols
