Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
- Willingness to work indoors and be exposed to varying weather conditions
- Flexible work schedule availability
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming and washing floors, removing trash, and dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness and safety standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
