Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Available to work flexible schedules including standing for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Capacity to perform physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Required vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment
- Willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to adhere to safety and security policies
- Strong customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Any other combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including bathrooms and kitchens
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows and surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
