Job Duties
- Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and common areas
- Demonstrate working knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements
- Use chemicals and equipment safely within the healthcare environment
- Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment as per standard protocols
- Remove waste and transport to designated disposal areas following proper waste stream handling procedures
- Follow all infection prevention practices including cleaning protocols, hand hygiene, isolation precautions, and PPE use and removal
