Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions
  • Good vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge and skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas
  • Clean floors by vacuuming or washing
  • Remove all trash from guest rooms
  • Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for quality and cleanliness
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
