Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions
- Good vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge and skills
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas
- Clean floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for quality and cleanliness
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
