Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and/or move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
  • Ability to sit, climb or balance occasionally
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Willingness to work in exposure to extreme weather conditions such as cold and heat

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Other combinations of education, training or experience that provide required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
