Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Willingness to work standing for 8-hour shifts
  • Willingness to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted surfaces and occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath/kitchen areas, floors, trash removal, and dusting/polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
