Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to work standing for 8-hour shifts
- Willingness to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted surfaces and occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath/kitchen areas, floors, trash removal, and dusting/polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
