Job Requirements
- minimum one year housekeeping experience
- education equivalent to a high school diploma
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- tolerance to exposure to extreme weather conditions including cold and heat
Job Qualifications
- minimum one year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
- any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, AC grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for quality cleanliness and presentation
- notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies stocked by restocking housekeeping cart
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
