Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and balancing
- Strong vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Availability to work flexible schedules including standing for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to maintain superior customer service at all times
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting, standing, and specific vision abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including bathing and kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove trash from guest rooms, dust and polish furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of specific area assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
