Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions occasionally
- Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
- Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including bathrooms, kitchens, floors, trash removal, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and surrounding outdoor areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness and presentation standards
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality
- Notify supervisors immediately of any safety, security violations, or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
