Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions occasionally
  • Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including bathrooms, kitchens, floors, trash removal, dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and surrounding outdoor areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality
  • Notify supervisors immediately of any safety, security violations, or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
