Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces and exposure to extreme weather conditions
- ability to maintain superior customer service
- willingness to adhere to company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent
- any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- remove all trash from guest rooms
- dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- notify supervisor of any safety or security policy violations or guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
