Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for 8-hour shifts
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and provide excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Any other combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
