Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Availability to work flexible schedules
- Commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to provide required knowledge, skills, and abilities through education, training, or experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleaning standards
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team
- Ability to follow safety and security policies
- Capability to operate cleaning equipment safely
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- Clean floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, and windows
- Remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards regardless of assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
