Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to lift and move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Ability to perform specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Willingness to follow company safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, clean all floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and remove trash from outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
