Job Requirements

  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • possession of current, valid driver's license
  • access to a working home telephone for business contact
  • ability to work varied schedules under diverse conditions
  • physical ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment
  • willingness to obtain certifications necessary for job functions
  • ability to communicate in English
  • ability to interact courteously with guests and staff

  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • ability to maintain a calm and composed presence in a fast-paced environment

  • willingness to obtain necessary certifications

Job Duties

  • sweeps, mops, seals, waxes, and polishes floors
  • washes walls, woodwork, and windows
  • vacuums carpets and removes stains
  • dusts furniture
  • prepares function space for meetings including moving furniture
  • cleans and polishes restrooms
  • assists in setting tables, chairs, and other equipment for events as needed
  • does painting, equipment repair and general maintenance as directed
  • maintains public areas, parking lots, loading docks, service corridors, and storage rooms in a clean, safe and efficient manner
  • is familiar with custodial procedures including, MSDS, equipment, proper usage of chemicals and proper personal protective equipment as applicable
