Job Requirements

  • minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • capability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces and exposure to extreme weather conditions
  • flexibility to work full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • high school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team environment
  • strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • excellent communication and customer service abilities

Job Duties

  • maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all furnishings
  • maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, a/c grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not directly assigned
  • visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • maintain superior customer service during guest interactions
