Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
  • ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
  • physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time up to 8 hours
  • physically able to utilize stairs as needed
  • previous experience cleaning preferred
  • ability to assist customers and guests when needed
  • pays attention to detail when cleaning
  • organized and able to follow a schedule
  • ability to follow verbal directions and assist the team with daily tasks
  • must be available to work rotating schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education
  • previous experience cleaning preferred
  • ability to assist customers and guests
  • pays attention to detail when cleaning
  • organized and able to follow a schedule
  • ability to follow verbal directions and assist the team with daily tasks
  • must be available to work rotating schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
  • ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products
  • perform general vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors in guest rooms and common areas
  • manage vacuuming equipment including carpets and stain treatments
  • dispose of trash from bins and containers
  • dust and polish furniture and room accessories
  • scrub sinks, bathtubs, showers, and toilets in private and public bathrooms
  • change linens and gather used linens for laundering
  • wash, dry, and fold linens
  • clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters
  • keep all public spaces neat and tidy
  • clean guest rooms within allotted time
  • respond to guest service or product requests in timely manner
  • report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
