Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must have a high school diploma or GED
- must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays and overtime if needed
- able to stand, walk, stoop, talk, and hear
- able to walk and remain standing for 8 to 10 hours with breaks
- must present a well-groomed appearance
- able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
- able to work at a fast pace in mentally and physically stressful situations
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a casino cleaner or housekeeper
- ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- customer-oriented and friendly
- working quickly without compromising quality
- must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
- hard working, detailed-oriented, and reliable
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash cans dusting and polishing
- ensuring all areas are cared for and inspected according to standards
- protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies
- notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- be mindful of putting wet floor signs out when mopping
- deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- check stocking levels of all supplies and replace when appropriate
