Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for eight hour shifts
  • availability for flexible schedules
  • willingness to work in diverse and inclusive team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to combine education, training, or experience to meet job requirements
  • good customer service skills
  • physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting, standing, and vision requirements

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards, regardless of assignment
  • visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
  • operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
