Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for eight hour shifts
- availability for flexible schedules
- willingness to work in diverse and inclusive team environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to combine education, training, or experience to meet job requirements
- good customer service skills
- physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting, standing, and vision requirements
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards, regardless of assignment
- visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
