Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to visually inspect and ensure cleanliness and presentation standards
- Good communication skills to notify supervisors of safety, security, and guest concerns
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not assigned specifically
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
